Tanis Tsisserev

Tanis Tsisserev, principal of T2 Communications, is a highly regarded and in-demand PR professional who specializes creating stylish strategies for lifestyle brands.  Working closely with her clients, Tanis takes a fresh, modern, and very involved approach; her goal is to make every client feel like they are her only client. 

Since launching T2 Communications in 2001, Tanis has worked with high-profile clients including Quattro Restaurants, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Whitefish Group, Opus Hotel, Marriott Hotels, Orb Clothing, Narcissist Design Co., Marimekko, Kiss & Makeup and many more.  She offers a full range of publicity, event management, and promotions solutions as well as a host of online branding strategies including social media marketing and copywriting. 

Recently, Tanis co-authored a cookbook.  Mangia with Quattro: Family Style Italian from the Heart, published by Whitecap Books, is set for release in fall 2009.

Before starting T2Communications, Tanis worked in-house representing Fairmont and Metropolitan hotels.  She orchestrated and promoted such wildly successful campaigns as the East Meets West Iron Chef cooking event, the launch of Senses Bakery with renowned pastry chef and chocolatier Thomas Hass, and the official visits from His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and President Clinton.

A frequent fixture in Vancouver’s style and society pages, Tanis has also been featured in Flare, Canadian Family, and The Globe and Mail. In 2002 she hosted a regular shopping segment on Shaw TV’s Studio 4 with Fanny Kiefer. 

Tanis’ love of performing arts led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Victoria before going on to earn her Marketing Communications diploma at BCIT. 

She is a proud member of a large four-generation family who reside throughout the Lower Mainland.  Tanis has served on the board of Saint Vincent’s Hospital, and helps to fundraise for Arts Umbrella and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation BC-Yukon Chapter.  She is an active member on the events and technology committees for the Village of Lions Bay where she lives with her family.
